Bio

Steve Weiner is the co-founder of the Endowment for California Leadership, the Campaign for College Opportunity and Common Sense California. He is the retired executive director of the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Earlier in his career he was associate dean of the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley, provost of Mills College and chief of staff to congressman James C. Corman. He is the former president of the California Community Colleges board.
